Table Mountain and Cape Point Shared Tour

Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel or guesthouse in Cape Town. After a brief introduction from your guide, you drive toward Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. On arrival, you have time to purchase your cableway ticket, then step into the rotating cable car for a smooth ride to the summit. Spend around one hour exploring the plateau, walking marked paths, viewing unique fynbos vegetation and capturing panoramic photos of the city and coastline.

Back at the base station, the tour continues through the colourful streets of Bo Kaap for a short photo stop, where your guide explains the area’s Cape Malay heritage and the story behind its famously bright houses. From here, you follow the Atlantic Seaboard, passing Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno as you head toward Hout Bay.

Next is a scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak, where steep cliffs and ocean views create stunning photographic opportunities. A stop is made at a viewpoint so you can appreciate the engineering of the road and look out across the bay. The route then enters the Cape Point Nature Reserve, part of Table Mountain National Park. You have time to walk to the Cape Point lighthouse, explore the network of paths and enjoy the fresh sea air.

A short drive brings you to the Cape of Good Hope, long associated withthe  age of exploration sailing routes. Here you take photos at the famous sign and, conditions permitting, stroll along the rocky shoreline. Leaving the reserve, the tour continues to Simon’s Town and on to Boulders Beach, home to a protected African penguin colony. Boardwalks allow you to see these charismatic birds up close in their natural habitat.

After your visit to Boulders Beach, you follow the False Bay coast back toward the city. Your guide points out interesting landmarks and suburbs along the way before dropping you back at your original pickup point in Cape Town.
