Aquila Safari Day Tour

Your safari day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or guesthouse in Cape Town. As you leave the city, the route takes you through vineyards and mountain passes, offering scenic views of the Western Cape countryside. After approximately two hours, you arrive at Aquila Private Game Reserve, where a welcome drink and breakfast buffet await.

Following breakfast, you board an open safari vehicle with a professional ranger who leads you on a 2 to 3-hour game drive through the reserve. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos and possibly leopards, as well as giraffes, zebras, antelope species and many birds. The ranger shares information about animal behaviour, conservation and the history of the reserve.

After the game drive, a buffet lunch is served at the lodge restaurant. You then have free time to relax by the swimming pool, visit the curio shop or enjoy a drink at the bar. Depending on the schedule, optional additional activities may be available at your own cost.

In the mid to late afternoon, you meet your driver for the return transfer to Cape Town. The day ends with drop-off at your original pickup point, filled with new safari memories.
